Welcome to another Honeybourne release. Here are six songs written and recorded between 1993 and 1995, given a smidge of 21st century fairy dust and presented to you. These are what I would call homemade electronica, using cheap and outdated instruments to create some approximation to the electronic music I love. The original tracks were recorded between 1993 and 1995 and additional recordings have been added to them to make them more palatable. Influences include Kraftwerk, OMD, Insides, Stereolab and more, but these songs don't really sound like them. There's even some very primitive beat sampling and looping, created on a Casio SK5 for that old skool low bit rate vibe. Tape hiss is essential. I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I have enjoyed rediscovering them.
